Advance Benton Harbor (ABH) is focused on identifying challenges in the Benton Harbor community, understanding these issues through research and technology, and confronting and resolving these challenges. ABH seeks to achieve this by empowering and engaging Benton Harbor's citizens, businesses, and institutions. Benton Harbor is famous for being economically and culturally important through the first half of the 20th Century. The community's past is overshadowed by its present state of impoverishment.

Through innovative programs, Advance Benton Harbor partners with Benton Harbor's leaders and stakeholders to confront the problems that lay at the core of the community, but are overlooked and often misunderstood.
